About the St. John’s College Foundation USA
Established in 2011, St. John’s College Foundation (USA) is incorporated in the State of Delaware and operates as a US tax-exempt 501(c)(3), US Dollar-based corporation. As such, contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible under the US Internal Revenue Code. It is governed by a Board of Directors, now consisting of three US-resident Directors/officers.
The St John’s College Foundation (USA) operates independently of its counterpart in South Africa, and plays an important role in the evolution of the school, as its fundraising initiatives support the sustainability of St John’s College. The funds raised build an endowment and contribute to the capital projects that further the legacy of this world-class Christian, African school.
Diverse academic, cultural and sporting programs prepare Johannians to become leaders in their chosen fields, as we share our resources with children who cannot afford our fees.
Every contribution to the US-based St John’s College Foundation reinforces St John’s College sustainability as a center of excellence and the generosity of our donors enables us to deliver on our vision and to extend our educational reach beyond the boundaries of our school.
